Lockdown Level 3 Update – 12 July 2020

During this evening’s State of the Nation Address, the South African Presidency gave further guidelines regarding the current and new Lockdown Level 3 restrictions and regulations. At Marley Pipe Systems, the health and safety of our customers and employees remain of utmost importance as we continue to manufacture and distribute our pipe systems following the Government’s set directives.

Lockdown Level 3 Update

Marley Pipe Systems is proud to announce that we have resumed manufacturing and all depots are fully operational as per the Level 3 Directive given by the South African Government. The health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers remain our priority and therefore we have implemented correct COVID-19 safety procedures.

Health Considerations

The health and wellbeing of our employees remains our greatest responsibility. Further to the President’s address, we would like to inform you that Marley Pipe Systems has already started winding down all activities with immediate effect in advance of the lockdown that will take effect at midnight on Thursday, 26 March 2020. Marley Pipe Systems will be suspending all operations effective close of business on 25 March 2020 and hope to be fully operational by the 4th of May 2020.

The nationwide lockdown has been extended and will continue until 30 April 2020, on assumption that it is not extended. Some of our staff who are able to work from home will continue to perform their duties as best they can during the lockdown.
