Marley’s offering of HDPE corrugated slotted drainage & cable duct pipes is designed to facilitate the drainage of motorways, roads, airfields, railways, tunnels, and orchards.
These systems will meet the needs of the engineer concerned with drainage problems associated with almost any major construction and comply with the requirements of EN ISO 9969.
Marley’s offering of HDPE corrugated slotted drainage & cable duct pipe provides all the advantages of HDPE, such as lightweight, ease of handling and laying, smooth bore, resistance to abrasion, and resistance to the aggressive agents sometimes present in soil and water.
Seal rings may be fitted to the fittings, as required by the engineer. Rodding and cleaning eyes can be incorporated into the system to remove any silt buildup or root ingress.
Handling and Storage
Marley’s offering of HDPE corrugated slotted drainage & cable duct pipe is light and easy to handle. Pipes should be stacked in pyramid form or not more than 1 metre high on level ground on suitable racking.
Trench Construction and Pipe Laying
Trenches should be cut as accurately as possible. Loose soil must not be allowed to contaminate the filter material. Filter material and backfill will generally be specified by the engineer.
Filter cloth may be incorporated as a trench lining. Trench widths should be kept within the limits shown in Figure 1.

Double wall corrugation provides high ring stiffness.
Smooth bore ensures easy draw-in of cables.
Good chemical and corrosion resistance for long-term durability.
Ease of installation due to light weight.
High impact strength ensures greater damage resistance.
Compression (Normal Duty) < 450N.
Excellent abrasion resistance for long-lasting performance.
Ensures long service life with minimal maintenance.

Available in 2 nominal diameters: 110mm and 160mm in 6m lengths or 50m coils
